I purchased $30.18 worth of food and unable to enter the purchase into the app to get credit for the purchase. The cashier said that she could not (the store does not) scan the QR code within the mobile app. She said “you can scan the receipt”. There is no QR or barcode code on the receipt. Please let me know how I can get credit for this visit.

I have the app which I use faithfully. You have changed the rewards to only be received if you do a mobile order. I don’t want to order on my phone. I go through the line, get what I want & if I want to request something special, I can. A mobile order doesn’t always allow a person to make changes. Also, I want to pay cash, not with a card. Rewards should be rewards. Make it easy for the customer. I will say that the manager accommodated me & I got my reward.

It took too long to receive the food. The food is very salty. But I didn’t have time to get a replacement.

I ordered a salad and asked for chicken added on it. In past when I have ordered the chicken it was warm and oven roasted. This chicken looked processed and was cold and tasted terrible. I also ordered a coffee and all the coffees were cold. The people at the checkout said they were recently brewed. I dumped them out and got a tea instead. The staff seemed young and new on the job so I can’t really blame them too much for that part of it but overall I wasn’t happy with the food. It really seems to have gone downhill since I last was at this La Madeleine. Also, I always order a quiche, and they looked undercooked and therefore I did not get one. Usually they are browned on the top, and these looked pale and almost raw in appearance. The manager let me order something else, but I was really wanting a salad with chicken.

I've always enjoyed going and buying from La Madeline Cafe. Any location I went to the food tasted great and the temperature was right. This is the first time I was dissatisfied with my Cafe experience. Other than the dessert I ordered, which was excellent, the mushroom soup was not as flavorful as it used to be and the temperature was just warm, not hot. The worst was my kale and quinoa salad. It was mushy and sticky. Not sure if the quinoa was overcooked or the salad is old that it has turned mushy. Unfortunately, this was a to go order so I had no way of getting it replaced. I wish there will always be a manager who can check on the consistency of the food that is served or prepared so that food quality is not sacrificed.

I order a double latte and some croissants but if I didn't go to the counter after 15 minutes to ask for the lattes they don't have a clue about my order

Food was overcooked. Restroom was filthy and smelled due to pee all over the floor. Iced chia latte was weak and very watered down.

We had buy one get one sandwich promotion and tried to order using the app. The app didn't have any place to take the promotion and we struggled for 30 minutes and couldn't complete the payment that will take the discount. We ended up wait in the long line and get the associate in the register to help to cancel the order and re-order in store. Then we waited another 30 minutes to get our food ready. This is just not acceptable. The new app is difficult to use and if there is promotion, process should be easy for customer to take the promotion easily.
