Dreams - Bury St Edmunds

We were greeted at the door by Julia who was very helpful. Initially, we wanted to look at a bed which had storage where the mattress lifted from the bed sted she knew the bed by the name 'The Wilson'. After showing this to us, I and my partner decided that it was hard to lift. Julia recommended a different bed 'The Lucia' that has drawers and we love it! Julia was very aware of social distancing even the toy sheep was wearing a mask. Julia offered bottled water which we gladly accepted. We felt like valued customers and she was friendly, she also took the time to explain what we would expect to happen when the bed arrived to us (to wait outside the door). The only comment is that we were unsure how regularly the door handles have been disinfected as we had to touch it to enter the building.

Within a couple of minutes of entering the store, we were greeted by Ryan who quickly established our needs. Ryan explained the 'experience' bed and we had a pleasant 3 minutes on the bed whilst it created a list of around 10 mattresses that Ryan showed us, allowing us to try each one with a pillow that he'd established was right for our sleeping style. Ryan gave us some disposable paper to cover the pillow and put under our body, and even sprayed an antibacterial solution on each mattress after we'd tried them. We quickly narrowed the choice down to 3 mattresses, and Ryan then spent a further 15/20 minutes with us talking through the composition of each mattress and the potential benefits. We had our 10 year old son with us, and Ryan was equally very good at entertaining him whilst we took our time to try the mattresses. We eventually made our choice and Ryan did a great job of explaining the benefits of other items such as pillows and mattress protectors which we went onto purchase.
