Dreams - Cambridge

Came in looking for a bed frame. Seeing in store the amount of options, we bought a bed frame that suited our needs at an affordable cost.Very happy with the choice we'd made. A great balance between quality and price.

We booked the 5pm slot to have the store to ourselves and it worked perfectly as we had to bring our children with us so I didn’t have to worry about them following social distancing etc.

Dreams was the first non-food shop that we had visited after non-essential shops could reopen and we wondered what it would be like. We aren't worried about the risk of catching Covid-19 as there seems to be little community transmission in our area. However, we wondered if the measures in place would be so draconian as to make the experience very difficult. In the event Dreams have got it just right - knowledgeable, polite staff who guide. Hand sanitise on the way in, protective cover for use on the beds and respectful distances but no compulsory masks/gloves etc. Once we got started trying beds we forgot about Covid-19, social distancing and focussed on finding the right bed. Rob was new having joined three weeks before lockdown and despite this had great product knowledge. His manager Marios was on hand to help when we came to pay as he hadn't been till trained due to lockdown. All round an excellent setup.
