The shop assistant Kane was very polite, & engaging with our needs, he explain the mechanics of the spine, also the importance of buying the right mattress. Kane was very pleasant and open to any question or concerns that we had, social distance was observed at all times.

The shop is well set out. Staff are friendly and helpful without feeling any sense of 'hard sell'. All measures for Covid safety have been well addressed. I was looked after by Dale who provided me with a pillow and sheet of protective paper and also asked if I wanted a bottle of water - nice touch. Dale was helpful, well informed and very patient. He suggested I use the computerised bed to assist in choosing a mattress - this really speeded up the process. I found the mattress I wanted but did not buy on the day. When I returned a week later I was looked after by Rob who was equally well informed, helpful and patient and what was nice was that he credited the sale to Dale on the paperwork

Immediately greeted by a staff member who handed me over to Jackie, who dealt with my visit from beginning to end. Jackie was an extremely pleasant and knowledgeable person and although the store did not have the mattress that I initially chose on the internet, Jackie was able to select a suitable alternative after allowing me to test a few suggested by the Sleepmatch machine.

Went to the Exeter branch on the off chance, and was greeted by the store manager Rob. We advised what we were looking for and Rob was knowledgeable of what was in stock, outlining options to order the particular bed frame we were after. Following this, we got mattress advice from Kane, where we were introduced to Sleepmatch, with a thorough description of how it worked. After the Sleepmatch device had narrowed down options, Kane handed me a disposable towel to use with a clean pillow, and we were then taken to each mattress from the results. I was given plenty of time to test each one out, and asked probing questions about how each felt. We were in store for a good 90 minutes and were offered bottles of water to keep hydrated. Communication with staff was great, everyone friendly and knowledgeable. General chitchat was a nice addition, in fact a comedy series was suggested to us which we’ve since followed up on! Felt Covid-safe throughout.

We had visited bensons for beds half an hour before but were put off by their 'command' to sanitise our hands as soon as we entered the shop before any greeting!. The sales staff then circled us which made us uneasy . Your sales associate was friendly, professional and gave us all the right information to make a purchase. We felt his sales manner was spot on .

I ordered a mattress over the phone. Robert in the Exeter was extremely knowledgable and helpful. I had previously bought a bed base by phone from him. He answered all my questions and was efficient and friendly
