We bought what we needed in a friendly store and the sale was quickly and efficiently processed. However, when terms and conditions were explained, one point irritated me slightly. Even though we paid to have our items delivered and fitted together, when told we would charged again for delivery if we missed delivery. After having bad experiences with another retailer, I found this clause annoying and one sided.

Went into store Irvine. Said what was looking for product in oak headboard not in store was showen on computer an it was what I needed.

While placing the order a delivery date was chosen. It was explained that this might change. However a short while after placing the order I received a text message confirming the delivery date. On not hearing anything further it was assumed that this was the delivery date. The order summary details that the supplier will contact me within 48 hours and within 2weeks of the order for confirmation of the order and then delivery of the order. Neither of these contacts were made. So, I took a days leave for delivery today. After lunch I contacted Dreams online to query delivery times. I was told that delivery was not scheduled for today!!! So I requested supplier details. I contacted the supplier direct and received detailed delivery details for 3 weeks time. This has been a very poor experience for me. To eliminate this for future orders Dreams should be more aware of their deliveries, their suppliers and their customers. Dreams should not wash their hands of an order as soon as they have the money. They should be aware of their orders and of the availability of the products ordered and should be in contact with their customers.

I love when you have a sale on but of course, the shop is extra busy at a sale so I was one of many customers. This also meant that the bed I wanted was very popular so I have a wait until delivery. I did want it as soon as possible. It's not a very long waiting time just over 2 weeks, so I can't really complain.

I ordered a mattress I thought would be ok for both my husband and I. When the mattress arrived it was obvious it was not suitable for the type of bed we have (king size sleigh bed). I never even thought about this and nor did the staff at dreams as they never asked me what sort of bed it was to be used on. I hope to exchange the mattress after 30 days for something more comfortable and one that fits our bed..
