I found the way products were displayed was misleading for example 1) mattress and base displayed with a price that was not totally relevant to the items on which it was placed giving a misleading impression on the cost of the items 2) Discount notices giving misleading impressions of where discounts were available.

It was clear that the employees goal was for us to spend as much as possible without understanding our budget I.e. We did not have £2500 available to buy a Tempur mattress yet were encouraged to do so. I insisted several times that I did not want mattress protection - I was challenged on this several times and eventually was given this for free - it felt as though the store was too highly targeted on selling the insurance that they actually became pushy.

Slow in receiving initial assistance

I ordered bedroom furniture the Memphis range in magnolia and grey. Unfortunately I could not view these items for colour. It would be helpful if you had samples of colours, grains of furniture to see.

The assistant, Hassan, got the price of the bed cover service plan wrong and initially offered discount on the mattress protector that we bought that subsequently was withdrawn. He was a new member of staff and therefore I accepted his honest mistake. However, a male colleague (I'm guessing a senior member of staff) was quite rude to me and told me if I didn't like it I didn't have to buy the insurance or mattress protector at all (nice customer service!). It annoyed me to the point of almost walking out of the shop without anything but Hassan had been very helpful and we needed a bed so I would have been cutting my nose off to spite my face.

Don't think it's easy to look at the price on the board beside the bed and know how much you will have to pay at the till.

once I had paid for the bed the assistant along with two other staff could not work the printer to give me a copy of the order, I had to sit for ages waiting while no one knew what they were doing. Eventually another assistant told me they would post it out to me. Some staff training needed I think!

The service was excellent however I think I was asked about 4 times in 5 mins if I want a coffee

Attentive and friendly staff member (Ann) who provided the right level of direction and efficiently helped us decide which mattress suited our needs and explained the available options and extras without any obvious hard-sell. Well done Anne! We particularly liked the area set up to demonstrate the different types of mattresses in order to help decide which best suited our needs. This helps tremendously when deciding what to choose, especially for a product that most will only consider after many years and have little knowledge of the current options available.

I do not like being told that to have the bed built is extra to have the old bed removed is extra these services should be part and parcel of the deal.
