Dreams - Milton Keynes

The staff member came to help me within me in the store for 20 seconds he was helpful and not pushy. I did not feel under pressure from him. I went into Benson beds first but walked out due to the salesman being pushy. As soon as the staff member approached me in Dreams I felt at ease I was able to ask him question which he answered in a friendly manner and because of this I made a purchase. He spent time and explained the different mattresses to help me make up my mind. The store was fairly busy so he asked me to come up stairs to place the order so that I did not have to wait as there were no customers waiting there. He placed the order very quickly he offered me delivery dates which was good and confirmed the order details he told me I would get a text on the day of delivery before they came. I chose the date that I required he placed the order and took payment for the mattress and delivery which was done very quickly. He explained that I would receive an email for the receipt. He thanked me in a polite manner. I was not in the store for very long as all was processed in good time. I would say the store was clean and tidy and laid out well.

Fixed price mentality of staff. I came into the store expecting to purchase more than 1 mattress but because of the absolute resistance to providing any quantity or delivery allowance incentive I left having purchased just 1. I am purchasing the other items elsewhere and only bought because of the preference one of the children expressed for a particular item.

There were no problems we didn't have to wait long.

I was just satisfied.

Not a major problem, but the mattress protector I was given was the wrong size which meant I had to go back to the store the nex day and change it.

THE EXPERIENCE WAS GOING WELL UNTIL WE WERE TOLD THAT THERE WOULD BE A DELIVERY CHARGE WHICH WE HAD NOT BEEN MADE AWARE OF UNTIL THE SALE HAD GONE THROUGH. TO BE CHARGED FOR DELIVERY WAS UNEXPECTED AS IT WAS NOT EVER GOING TO BE A CASE OF PICKING UP A BED AND PUTING IN THE BACK OF THE CAR!

There is always room for improvement but great service

I am very satisfied but there are always room for improvement as it is in this world. No negative criticism to Dreams.

I am not sure if it was cross wires but I was under the impression we were to get free delivery plus £39.99 off our mattress protector as part of the discount. When I reviewed my order confirmation the next day I see I have paid for delivery. Although we did get 39.99 off of the mattress protector. I feel this could of been explained more fully at the time. I was under the impression We was getting discount on the mattress protector and free delivery.
