The sales person was very polite & kept promising to be with us in 2 minutes. After 25 minutes it became obvious that he was dealing with 2 other customers at the same time. He eventually came to help us but could not process our order because the computer was not behaving. We pointed out to him that there were 2 computers downstairs so he logged into one & told us he would only be a couple of minutes. then he spent 10 minutes completing someone else's order before starting on ours. The final problem was the surprise £40 (20%) delivery charge which was not made clear anywhere in your advertising. He reduced this to £20 when we said we would not continue with the order.

The Dreams assistant does not have the complete understanding of the product Berkely wordrobe, what items (example: shelves, railings etc...) come by default and what items do I need to pay extra, she does not have knowledge, I end up buying something which I am not sure as there was a necessity. Disappointed with the support staff and inadequate information about the product.

Dissatisfied with the £39 standard delivery charge even for products that are not particularly large. This is really extortionate. Even though the sales advisor was able to reduce it by £19 I still find £20 delivery expensive given that the products are not cheap themselves and the way that Dreams likes to portray itself as a premium brand. It was not known until the point of order that there would be a delivery charge so I feel that pricing could be more transparent. In my experience other furniture stores offer free delivery. Also did not feel like staff were particularly keen on helping me, mostly they were just concerned with getting my money. I also noticed that staff were just as confused as customers concerning the constantly changing prices of products on offer.

the original salesman was very helpful. but... the headboard did not fit up the stairs even though we were assured at sale point that the delivery men were professional and could do so. it seemed like the delivery men didn't want to do their job. we called customer services who advised to go back into store to sort out this problem (not helpful!! it sounded like she didnt want to talk). went back into store to be told that we had to go back to customer services. second call to customer services was a lot better, person on the phone was very helpful and is currently sorting this problem for us now. not happy that we have to pay 20% of the headboard to order it again without the headboard and also another delivery charge. in future please put more emphasis on whether the product will fit than the actual sale or the upsale items.

I had to ring up customer services to change the phone number i provided, they were most unhelpful and did not pass the information on to the delivery drivers, so all day they were ringing the wrong number. So we were not home to take the delivery, very poor communication.

We told the sales assistant our bed was 160cm wide but insisted in selling a 150cm wide mattress. When we realised the matress was to small the next day we returned to cancel the order only to find out the order could not be cancelled. The IT system was down in the shop. The manager tried to worm out by saying a 160cm was actually available for an other £300.. The product knowledge and Company terms are totally unacceptable and i fully intend to let everybody know what a shambles your company is on social media and local news. Absolutely fuming at the prospect of putting my £407 deposit down the drain. You WILL be hearing more about this.

No problems with the sale or ordering
