Dreams - New Basildon

Before we even walked into the store, we were dreading being pounced on by over-zealous, pushy, Timmy Mallet-style Sales personnel and wondered if we had stumbled into the twilight zone when we were actually acknowledged, but given time to look around and make our own choices. We were then greeted by John, who introduced himself and asked if we needed advice, but we had already decided. We were offered a hot drink by his colleague (which we declined) and we sat down at the desk to go through the paperwork. When I saw the "desk of no return", I almost backed out as I have been trapped at these torture stations for hours in other stores, but John was a perceptive chap who recognised that we really didn't want to be there, so went through the formalities as quickly and painlessly as he could. John was very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. We were served quickly, were not pressurised into buying anything we didn't want, and we were in the store for a total of 25 minutes, which, for 2 people who LOATHE shopping, was absolutely marvellous. In all, a good experience and it was still daylight when we left the shop. Top staff & top products

When I arrived in store I was given chance to explore the beds available before the sales assistance approached. I appreciated that as I didn't feel I was being hijacked or sold to. The lady who helped us was very informative and friendly. I felt I had time and freedom to make my choice. She clearly explained the differences in the types of bed. Which was helpful as I had no understanding. She also appreciated the purpose for my purchase so didn't try to hard sell. Which was important to me.

Quick knowledgeable service

Your member of staff was attentive, knowledgeable and very helpful. Once we had made our choice he explained about delivery and the first date available. He also gave us information if we were interested in the collection of our old mattress, which we were. He was kind enough to give us a discount on the collection which was very helpful as we are old age pensioners. He explained the methods of payment and arranged a short term payment plan which was perfect for us. Everyone was friendly we were offered tea and coffee and our visit was extremely pleasant and I would not hesitate to return in the future and would recommend your service to family and friends.

The assistant. Was very efficient and very knowledgeable. And very polite

We were greeted when we went in but not followed around. When we wanted to ask about a bed someone was available and was very knowledgable. The date of delivery was perfect. The whole purchase was completed very quickly which was good as we had two bored children with us.

John served as promptly. He was not a pushy salesman and gave us time to consider our needs. He knew his products and was able to give us information and advice based on our requirements. Our purchases will be delivered on a date that suits us. Service was really great and he was helpful when I returned to check depyhnof mattress for linen purchases.
