I felt that the sales assistant was a little unsure about product knowledge and rather than admit she didn't know t6he answer to some of my questions, she just guessed. She said that the mattress I bought had 1,000 springs, but on checking online it seems that it only has 858. However she was very helpful in understanding my needs and helping to narrow down the range of options.

Did not think that there was enough staff, for the amount of people that where in the shop

Fran was very helpful and not too pushy but I didn't like the insurance sales pitch which I'm sure is Dreams led. To decline the insurance to instantly be offered the same policy at half price didn't sit well with me! Just offer insurance at the "discount" price and you may get more take up.

I was buying a mattress, I was happy with the service. I was looking to buy a sprung mattress with a pillow top but was strongly recommended a memory foam one based on the diagnostic machine thing, we went with the recommended one in the end but I’m now a little nervous that it will give me similar back problems to my current one. We had to be completely trusting of the salesman, I just hope he’s right.

After being in store and an item being out of stock I then kept an eye on line to see when the item became available. When it did I went back to store but on their system it still showed out of stock. This was apparently an “IT glitch”.

We entered store looking for an Emma mattress which was not available but were helped to find the best match. The training member of staff was extremely helpful and sought help when lacked knowledge of products- honest.

One of the suggested items was not available in our selected size which made comparison difficult. Delivery options were limited - 5 days until 1st available delivery slot; delivery slot will only be notified 24hours ahead of delivery; to request a specific 2 hour slot costs an extra £24 - really not customer friendly delivery terms

Callum was very knowledgable and shared very interesting details and general information his attentiveness certainly ensured we returned to place the order. His female colleague was also very helpful. The only reason we couldn't give a highly recommended was because there were no mattress removal bags or pillows to take away and there was a problem with them protectors but that was eventually resolved. We were ordering from Watford because we live nearby but the delivery is for sussex so it complicated things as the system wasn't flexible enough to send items to a separate address I.e. Our local one. The staff worked creatively to sort it but I could tell they had tomthink out side tye system box! Despite commenting On delivery..its hasn't happened as yet so I am predicting that it goes well.... Overall I must say I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the experience....we have always used John Lewis and as they are now closed in Watford we wandered into Dreams 'just to have a look' ended up spending £1600. Thanks to all involved...
