We visited the Watford store initially and had excellent service from Hemal, who provided all the product details we needed and talked us through all our options. We were undecided at this stage. We then visited the TCR store, which also we were very happy with the customer service. However, at this store, we were made to believe the prices of the products were going to change imminently and we felt pressurized to make an order. We were still unsure, so did not purchase here either. We ordered the product over the phone - however had an issue with getting the product delivered to our new home address, because my credit card is currently not registered to this address. Ordering over the phone should be made easy as is with a lot of other companies - we should be able to pay a deposit without it affecting the delivery address. I would have happily visited the store to make the order, however was made to believe the "sale" ended on that day, and so felt no option than to make the order over the phone and agree to visit the store with proof for change of address. The mattress we bought is still the same price as was in this sale - so there was actually no rush for us!

Some of the beds/covers were a bit tired looking. The paperwork has the incorrect payee address. I the following day to rectify this, left a message on a answer machine and am still waiting for a call back.

Have since read internet forum stories about haggling of prices eg on money saving expert Not sure if we got the best price we could have because we didn't think of haggling at the time My mum and I are purchasers of integrity so we trusted the listed prices in store. We bought 3 beds plus divans plus extras such as mattress protectors and pillows. We spent close to £4000 in total. Happy that we weren't pushed with the hard sell - we liked the consultants attitude at least. Perhaps could be have been talked through ALL of the range (including what is available online) and not just what was in the store (there is more choice online than in the store) Haven't actually tried out the beds we purchased yet so will have to wait and see if we are 100% happy. Plus we need to see how the delivery / disposal men perform on the day we are due to receive the beds.

My original objective was to secure a quick turnaround delivery for a single ottoman bed. My expectations were raised for a 2 day horizon when searched online BUT upon visiting a store to select a color, as this feature was not available online, I discovered a longer delivery lead time 7-10 days.

It is a little disappointing that the prices in store are higher than those advertised on your website. For example delivery is free of charge if I had ordered online, whilst we paid £39, I mentioned this to your colleague and he gave us £15 off our delivery charge, but this still seems odd. The single mattress we ordered in store also turned out to be £50 cheaper online. This difference in pricing is why I am not highly satisfied.

We had to ask for an assistant to buy the bed we wanted at no point where we approached and asked if they we needed any assistance.

Product and service was fine but think the fact I am charged for delivery, installation and to take the old product away feels wrong. Plus, as I had "only" spent £486 I did not qualify for interest free credit. Just all felt unfair.

There was a lot of choice and and we had to take time to make the right choice that was right for dads needs, we had visited a few places but our end choice was with Dreams beds
