Dreams - Watford

This is based on my expectations - wanting to buy a bed under £500 with storage for my spare room. I ending up paying £687 instead. More options in that price range would have been preferred.

price of plastic bag should have been free or max of £5 was charged £39 much much to much

We wanted to be served by a certain salesman who was busy with another customer we were happy to wait for him but would of liked to have had a bit of help whilst waiting. But once we were served everything moved quickly and smoothly.

Lots of double beds but very few singles. I then found that I could have got the same mattress £22 cheaper locally.

Very relaxed. Not pounced on as soon as entering the store. Salesman was helpful.

firstly, the first assistant we approached knew very little about the beds. he seemed like a young man on work experience! he had to go and ask another colleague about a basic question on number for pocket springs! secondly, very few of the beds are available in all the various mixes. e.g for silent night- you can get a spring/memory foam mattress with a memory layer 'on top' in medium, but you can't get it in firm. similarly you can get the same company's spring mattress with memory foam 'built in' in firm but not in medium. disappointing

Shop very busy felt a bit rushed over order

Expected the sales to be with all items not just a chosen few items
