It took a really long time and I told them I need to leave for an important meeting and they said they’d have me out before then and then I had to keep asking for updates at the end even though my car was already down.

Overall I had a good experience at this Big O Tires location in San Leandro, CA. Good customer service and the facility is clean. Employees are professional and courteous. The only negative is the inventory of the tires. They didn’t have the tires I ordered and the store claimed that they can get them for me from other warehouse location but the price would be increased by about 10% from the quoted price. The store offered other tires for the quoted price I received, but it felt like a baited and switch practice.

Took way too long

Took longer than time stated. Air conditioning was not working on a very hot day.

After I received the call that the vehicle was ready, I went in to retrieve my vehicle but there was no mention on the work order about the whirling sound I had experienced upon startup. The tech had forgotten to put that on the list of things to check and it did not get checked, fixed, or anything. I can always return to the shop to have it check again, but I was not satisfied that the thing I was most hoping to get taken care of, would have.

Price was a bit too much

I live in a different state now and took the vehicle in for urgent repairs during a visit. When I picked up the vehicle , the steering wheel was dirty from mechanic hands. The driver side footwell was dirty from mechanic’s feet. The steering wheel and the seat were moved for them to test drive it after repair and not returned to their original position.

I don’t have a reason to put highly satisfied am I am just satisfied it takes a lot to be in the service industry. Better communication with the estimated cost would have been nice to know up front.
