I checked the price of the parts for the repair work purchased. Some of the parts were marked up three hundred percent. Anti-freeze was overpriced. I was charged for filling and removal also charged for labor for changing anti freeze. The thermostat was replaced and the case that holds the oil filter. Plus the spark plugs were changed. Total came to $1960.00 Way to much!!!!

They did their job to a great satisfaction. I didn’t give a highly satisfactory, because I’m not going out to brag about someone doing a job they are payed to do.

I was not given the option of standard oil for my oil change.

I called ahead to schedule the work to be done. Oil change and tire rotation for 11:00 am. It took over two hours before the work was completed.

The only reason I was not highly satisfied was the time wait. I was told it would take 1 - 1.5 hours and it took 2.5 - 3 hours. They were swamped so I understood but since I was told 1-1.5 and didn't get any notification of it taking longer until I asked at 1.5 hours - was not thrilled.

I was expecting synthetic blend oil. They were out of it and didn't offer a discount because of something that was out of my control. I know I could have left but I drove 35 minutes to get there.

Made appointment, in person, on November 5, 2022 for oil changer on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 10: a.m. Arrive ...no appointment...!! Nothing! They were good about getting my vehicle in.

I asked for the Black Friday special on synthetic oil service when I made the appointment, and at the desk when I checked in, and it was not applied. I called the store later when I saw it was missing on the invoice, and was told he didn't have the authority to now apply it to the current invoice, but that it would be given when I came in for another oil service. The Big O price is higher than what I pay at the Subaru dealership who uses OE oil and filters, so why would I want to come back to Big O? I also get a full inspection and a car wash at the dealership, so why would I come back to Big O? My local (Pella) repair sites are also cheaper than Big O, so why would I come back for an oil service-except to get the $15 discount that I didn't get on 12/4. Improvement would be to honor the advertised discount correctly, and a better customer service recovery than telling me to use it when I come back.
