I was quoted a different price on the steering rack. I'm looking at the invoice from the job performed and it looks like the shop bumped up the price over $100. Is this common?

Ask the client if they wish to have a free inspection performed, or only the work requested. I had no idea an inspection was being performed until I noticed one being accomplished. This was not communicated to me. It took longer to do the inspection that the work I requested (a simple oil change). I was at the facility for over two hours for what should have been a 15 minute job. I did not have time for this, and for this reason would be very hesitant to return.

The employee hadn't even checked the online appointments. He did not know I was coming in. I was told I would receive a call within an hour to let me know my truck was done. 5 hours later my truck was still not completed for just an oil change. I received no call and had to go in there.
