Hilton Birmingham Perimeter Park

We stayed at this hotel for one night on our way through Alabama to get home. What attracted us to it was the friendliness of the staff behind the desk when we inquired about the prices. The lady at the front desk went above and beyond to help. She even remembered our name and greeted us as we came in and out that night (10/10). We then have an issue with our room toilet. It wouldn't flush. I let the front desk know and they sent a mainland worker up right away. He has a auger and thought he fixed it. He dropped toilet water all down the hall and room. Which was just gross if you ask me. They also didn't turn up the air in the hallways and everyone complained of sweating to death. The next morning our toilet was still messed up. I told a different lady at the from the front desk about how our toilet never worked and she smiled while on the phone and just said thanks. She was very rude ( black lady who was younger) and she was always on a personal call when we walked by!!
