Not very Mexican and expensive for Mexican food. The local places are much better.

Nice experience

Ok... The main reason I love Mexican restaurants - chips and salsa! The most disappointing thing that can happen - stale chips. How how how can you serve stale chips?!???! It wasn't like we got a bad batch and those around us did as well. You know they are stale when they don't look right and you can bend them without breaking them. I. Wanted. To. Puke. Trying to eat a rubber chip, yuck! If I hadn't been SO hungry and with others who love your food, that chip would have turned into me walking out totally turned off (which I was, but I sucked it up for family). Lucky for you, I was brought in by people who frequent Abuelos and they assured me it was the first time they experienced this. I might go back, but it won't be my choice - it will be them dragging me in.

The food was not bad. The food took forever to come out and had box some of it because of this.
