When I started here the cost for the membership was $60. Then it went up to $70. Now with hand and stone it’s $80. There is going to be a point where it’s too much and I will have to stop my membership because I can’t afford it.

I was late and instead of suggesting to rebook appt I was given a quick 20 minute facial- so I was feelng mixed emotions.

I didn’t like the fact that my credits or “gift cards” were on my account but being charged for the difference in rate increase. Those should of been applied previously if they didn’t hold their value.

We had an issue with my partner having a membership and wanting to add me on for the discounted rate, which we saw in a flyer mailed to our home was a possibility. The flyer was showing changes in operations since changing from Massage Green to Hand and Stone. And one of the things was you could add a family member. The reception staff told us no, this was not at all possible. We referenced the mailer, and they still said no. They gave me the discounted rate as a first time customer (first time Hand and Stone, I had been there before as Massage Green) which was the same rate as I would have been charged if I could be added to my partner's account anyway. We went out in the car and after some searching online, found a digital copy of the mailer we had received which confirmed we were correct. We brought it back in to show them, the receptionist still would not honor that was correct, had to ask a manager, who conceded that "oh yes I guess you can, for once every six months" or something. There was just no apology for shutting us down so much or no real admittance of "oh I'm sorry we didn't realize that, thanks for bringing this to our attention". There's surely a lot of changes that have happened but at least be kind about it instead of acting like we are being a problem. Especially when we provided the documentation that showed we were correct!

Products for purchase were limited. Rooms are a little cramped and sparse. Won't be back to this location in 90 days because I live in VA.

Therapist took the time to talk about areas that needed more attention. Appointment was timely. Booking appointments with receptionist is easy.

My facials are always amazing. I had a massage and I’ve never been in pain after a massage my back feels bruised. Not good.

I just really wanted to get some recommendations for a few problem areas but there was no time. I booked for 3 people and i guess with only one technician there was no time in between for questions
