Hand and Stone

Not related to the service directly, but the transition from Massage Green to Hand and Stone seems to have had a negative impact on my likeliness of continuing to utilize services. The membership that I previously was a part of through MG is no longer applicable at H&S. The flexibility with the membership that I had before, where I could apply the membership at any of the locations in the area has been removed, and I no longer have the ability to share the services of the membership with my wife. Unfortunate on all accounts. I doubt I'll be returning.

I had a great massage with Tamara this week. I also had my first facial with Rose on Saturday. Both were great experiences and I will be returning for more :)

Massage actually began about 15 late and ended at scheduled time so paying for 90 minutes was disappointing.

I've been to several spas. And this dearborn location has always been not a preference. Not only did my lady quit, i was not notified. My app was at 1pm not seen til 115. Dust and dander on the floor and countertops. Noise from them hanging the sign. Is this supposed to be relaxing??? No bolster under my legs. For 30 extra bucks i can go to Mgm

Check in was unfriendly, got a new form handed to me on a small tablet that didn't show what I needed to answer.

I booked a 2 hour appointment for a massage and facial. My massage was cancelled and I was not made aware until I got there. This appointment was to celebrate my graduation from graduate school. Not the best first impression of hand and stone

I didn’t feel the experience was above and beyond

The front desk greeting, the wait time, the professionalism of the masseuse.

This massage was ok, I have had a few better ones though. I feel that more time could have been spent on my LOWER back, I specifically asked for that to be focused on. I feel like each masseuse does their own thing instead of following a standard way to massage. I get that things may be a bit different depending on areas to be focused on. In my experience some start you face up, others face down, some do feet as they finish each leg, some don't. Some adjust lighting, some don't. Things like that.
