Came for coffee and a pastry and for both me and my friend the coffees were cold.

It was just okay, nothing special stood out. The lights were crazy bright is really the only negative

Took a while to get order and they say the coffee machine is out of order when it’s not. There’s just no personnel to handle.

The assistant manager waited on us and didn't realize that sides are not shown on the menu board above the kitchen. He asked about what sides that I wanted and stated that I could order from any of the sides shown on the printed menu, which he retrieved for us. I ordered fruit salad and paid for our meals. Not looking at the receipt until I returned home, I realized that he charged me $1.69 extra for my fruit salad. I wish that the menu was cleared to read and to order more quickly. I've been to the restaurant at least 8 times at this and other locations and it's always an issue to read the menu because of the way it's layed out. How about listing in numerical order some menu items and then clearly mark what that item includes and any extra charges for items stated after each item? This particular manager seems to work very efficiently and knows his stuff, but is not very friendly with customers. He's all business!!!! Apparently he was logged into the register under "Gregory's" name, but that wasn't what his name tag stated. It began with an "M". I don't remember his full name.

Nothing to do with the food, there was just a very large party with several children that ran around the dining area

There was one person at the counter when I entered (the employee did not seem comfortable or well trained.

Did not expect this site to be a fast food type. Accustomed to usual sit down style Madeleine. Did not like this new style. Soup was brought to table cold.

Sandwich was lacking meat. Felt like the pricing was too high for the amount of food we got.

The wait for the order was too long

I use to come 2-3 times a week but with the new process I have to wait a long time for my food versus before I would get my salads sampler or cafe sampler right away because they would prepare it right then and there. Now I have to wait as if I’m ordering an entree. When you come on lunch breaks it’s just to long now so I can’t come as often which is unfortunate being it’s my favorite restaurant
