I found the items I was looking for quickly but was stuck behind a woman who was taking a long time at checkout. Not a big deal, until she stayed to talk for a while after completing her purchase. I asked the cashier "excuse me can I go ahead now?" He said rudely "go where??" I said "could you please check me out I have to get to get to work and I'm going to be late." He said again rudely "well I don't know! Why don't you tell this nice lady to move because it's very rude for me to say it. Don't you think that's RUDE for me to say?? I think that's very rude." Obviously implying I was rude to ask if he could please check me out rather than chit chatting. It was not a short conversation nor did he even make the effort to begin checking me out while still continuing his conversation. He continued to make comments about how utterly rude of him it would have been if he did that and asking me how I would have felt. I was not only extremely shocked an employee would carry on and on like that but to embarrass me in front of the woman was extremely disrespectful. I will not be returning and will be calling the district manager.
