Memphis Zoo

Certain exhibits were closed. Staff member was nice.

Fun trip

I like the Memphis Zoo lot of animals I don't like the fact that you have to pay extra to see the stingrays and giraffes etc never saw the polars they were not there

My main disappointment came from the cafe that I visited near the camel ride. I purchased a souvenir cup for $5.95. They ran out of cups and tried to sell me a more expensive cup. I kept asking for a refund but they kept suggesting more items. Eventually I did get my money back. I was also disappointed because the polar bears were not out. It was around 4:00pm before I made it to this exhibit. It's also very frustrating to pay zoo admission and then be expected to pay again to view certain exhibits or animals in the zoo--like the giraffes. We weren't able to see the giraffes because they also were not out. This was around 4:30pm. Overall, my kids and I did enjoy our trip to the Memphis Zoo.

Zoo was great but will never ever go again on Tennessee Tuesday. Waaaaaayyyy too many people!!!

My employer recently hosted an event at the Memphis Zoo. It was very nice. The zoo is currently under construction in many areas, but the grounds are well-maintained and most of the animals were out for viewing. I plan to take my kids to the zoo next week!
