So slow. Just stood there and had to wait for a cashier

my interaction with the cashier was very unpleasant. an older white lady helped me. i arrived at the counter, said "good morning" and asked how she was doing, to which there was no reply at all. oookaay. tried buying cigarettes, she carded me (I'm heavily pierced and tattooed, in my thirties, OBVIOUSLY old enough to buy cigarettes) i provided her with my ID which expired recently and she denied me the purchase. i understand she was just doing her job, but the attitude presented from the beginning left a bad taste in my mouth. my complaint isn't in regards to her not selling the cigarettes but rather the attitude she held in general. my friend arrived to pick me up, went in baby-faced and bare-skinned a few minutes later, was asked if she was over eighteen and purchased a pack no problems, no ID checked. i work in customer service and have seen plenty of judgmental and rude people in my time, and this lady was up at the top with the worst of them. 6 am is early for everyone, if you can't handle being kind at that hour get a new shift or a new job.
