Receipt at the pump was not working so had to go inside, stand behind 4 people, and be treated rudely by the cashier just to get my receipt.

the guy lied and said he couldn't sell me any tobacco products until he counts cigarettes and I had to come back at 7 in the morning. It was 1 AM.

I came to 7-11 to get a French Vanilla espresso using my 7-11 cup for refill. Primarily though, I wanted to use the 7-11 app for the first time. I'd had my phone out, in my hand, from my entering the store and coffee preparation, while waiting in line and as I presented my purchase to the cashier, Moe. I noted specifically he observed my phone, which at that time was laid on the counter, right next to my refilled coffee mug. I believe he had to have seen it was open to the 7-11 app purchase confirmation scan—he was looking directly at it for several seconds while I was preparing to pay. He took my cash, completed the transaction on the register and gave me my change without further comment or question. Once he'd dutifully recited the words to his closing and looked to the next customer in line, I asked him about the purchase confirmation scan. Clearly, it seemed to me, he was irritated at this delay and scolded me, curtly advising "You should have told me that before." Then he proceeded to call out, "Next in line." No apology or explanation for his apparent ignoring what he saw, no offer to remedy my failure to follow proper procedure (e.g. Indirectly by using the next transaction to scan or directly by correcting this transaction) and no offer to ameliorate the problem in any way. Moe's clear mastery of correct customer compliance with corporate policy was impressive and it certainly made a definite impression upon me. It may have done so for some or all of the other right or nine customers within hearing distance. I'm confident I won't make the same mistake again. ...that mistake being, it seems, _my_ _error_ _in_ _judgement_ to stop in at 7-11 instead of > the convenience store across the street or > either of the other two on the other side of the highway or, since we're talking coffee here, even > the Starbucks just down the street or > the probably dozen other choices >> just as easy to get to and >> righ
