When I was buying tickets for the omnimax the guy asked me if I wanted popcorn because there was no tax if I purchased them at his register. So I said I wanted a small popcorn and one drink and he rang up a $14 large popcorn and two large souvenir cups. I didn't realize what he did until I was upstairs and saw how much more expensive it was than what I had asked for. The snack bar was out of coke and the whole thing made me late for the movie. So I was now trying to juggle my 3 year old and overly large bag and drinks and being told I had to go upstairs now to get into the movie. The usher saw how frustrated I was and helped me get in. I also paid for a seat for my 3 year old but the seat kept folding up on him because he was too small to keep the seat down. He ended up sitting on my lap anyway. It was a very frustrating and expensive learning experience. We went into the discovery room and had to take two bathroom breaks and since the bathrooms are so far away from the room for children we lost a lot of our time.

Very good for the science center that it was jampacked. Not so much for us. We could not get into the discovery room and did not have a lot of time to look at each exhibit because there were so many other people wanting to use the interactive exhibits as well. I guess it was a combination of spring break and school field trips.

It was pretty neat and something different to do but I wish they had a little bit more. I think I'd rather come back when they have an exhibit going on.

New discovery room is nice. Popcorn is salty

Enjoyed the omnimax show. At the gift shop, I set my item down next to a register and just waited. The guy at the drawer didn't acknowledge me. Another individual at the next register said-"I'll take care of you over here." He was polite. He bagged my purchase in a used paper bag, not recycled, but used.
