I swiped my American Express serve card at the pump and the total for the purchase was 20.20, I checked my bank account shortly after and saw that the store had charged me $99 dollars! I was baffled, I went inside the store to confirm the purchase, and the cashier told me that it was normal to get a fee at the pump, and that it would be in my bank in 8-10 days. It just didn't seem right, a fee of 79 dollars for a purchase at the pump? I called American Express serve and they had no clue what had happened, they said they had charged me with the 20.20 and then authorized for another transaction, totaling it up to $99 dollars. Serve refunded me for the full $99 dollars which was really nice of them, but I still don't understand why it happened. I highly suggest not going here, or at least not paying at the pump. The whole situation was infuriating, and I would and will think twice about using this place.
