Always love using my bp rewards

I went to use my debit at the pump and their system was down. There were no notes so every customer I saw, went through the motions of doing it at the pump then they were prompted to go inside. I found this as an inconvenience. Then when I told the clerk my rewards weren't working and I would like them to be used on the purchase, I got a rude response that if their debit system is down so are their rewards (I didn't know the debit was down!!)
