Just got gas, in and oht

Went in the buy a pack of gum and the cashier was talking to someone at the counter. I was patient and waited quietly for a couple minutes and then I realized that the person was just a friend of the cashier and they were just having normal conversation about what they did over the weekend and I waited for at least five minutes before she was nice enough to put her conversation on hold so she could ring me out for my gum and she wasn't even nice to me. It was terrible customer service.
