La Quinta Inn Amarillo West Medical Center

This is a very old bldg but location was great. Bathroom was clean and bright. The carpets are filthy and room needs updating for electronics. We were stuck in an ice storm on Hwy 40 for hours and are so grateful to get a room and where our dog could stay.

This La Quinta was a disappointment. The carpet in our room had stains and the overall condition of the room was mediocre. The bed, though, was comfortable and the staff very nice and helpful. We left some things behind which they very willingly are shipping to our destination.
