In general I was satisfied with the service I received - however the mattress i purchased was said to be 15mm deep and supplied rolled - however after unpacking and leaving for 48 hours the mattress has still not 'expanded' to a depth of 15mm - being closer to just 14mm. The mattress was to match an earlier purchase (not from Dreams ) 14.5mm deep x36" to make a set in total 6.0ft wide . We are still allowing the mattress to 'grow' if it doesn't may return it.

The first sales Assistant (Henry) who served us was very rude, he kept repeating very loudly that we should lie on the beds to try them on and refused to give us information about the products. According to to him that didn’t matter as the best way to see if a bed was suitable was to lie on it. He repeated that out loud 2-3 times and I had to walk away from him (and nearly out of the shop) as I couldn’t take it anymore. Luckily the second a Sales Assistant (Ben) was very helpful, apologised for his colleague and looked after us well.

I came into store on the 22nd Oct and purchased a king size mattress. I paid with my card. The pdq machine was playing up and asked for an authorisation code. I paid and left the store. Yesterday it transpired that Dreams have taken out a duplicate amount off my card leaving my account in debit. Spoke to customer services who said I will be refunded and compensated but I don’t know when that will be so not very happy really

The whole process of finding a mattress is very confusing. Dreams have a huge range but that almost makes it harder. When one asks the difference between all the various options one almost become more confused. The Dreams team do their very best, but one still leaves the store wondering if one has made the right choice. Anyway having tried John Lewis and a few on line options I think Dreams is probably fine.

Product added that adviser genuinely believed was free but was actually chargeable so have had to get it removed.

Staff at the store were excellent and helpful. however the experience of walking into a store and having to filter what we need when there are so many options can be challenging.
