Sedgwick County Zoo

We love our zoo membership and visit often. The only complaint I have today is that the Tropics building is not toddler friendly. I have a good all-terrain stroller and it is difficult to push through the ground cover. It would be nearly impossible for my 28 lb toddler to walk safely through the building so other than carrying him, the stroller is the only option. We love the updates to the building but wish you would consider a different ground cover for the paths.

Great zoo

I love how close up you can view the animals at the Sedgwick county zoo.

We love the Sedgwick County Zoo and visit often with our membership! I love that there is plenty of space to move around in the exhibits and the grounds are well kept. I have been to several zoos around the world and this is one of the best. Today we visited for just 90 minutes and were able to see the chimps, the Australia and South America exhibit and the reptile and amphibians. I love that the zoo is easy to navigate. It is a great place for a short drop in visit or an all day adventure!

I went to the zoo for an after our specialty event, did not see the polar bears, the elephant exhibit is under construction. I always enjoy our visits to the zoo and look forward to going again.
