Red Roof Inn Lansing West

This a really good hotel to stay at. The only thing that's wrong is when they say it's a smoke-free hotel. The guests are constantly smoking, as well as some staff members. The worst part is that they smoke right where you check in at or sometimes right near your room if you happen to have a room near a smoking guest. Some people can deal with it, but for those that have severe asthma like me....well I almost died 3 times in the one day I stayed. I only inhaled just a little when I tried running by, and it was enough to stop me from being able to breathe, even with my emergency inhaler.

There was a lot of noise outside our room in the morning. The staff could have been more courteous.
