The first Car we rented in Danbury had bald tires. We did not realize until the next day. We had to drive to White Plains to exchange the Car. We are a call back from the Manager to see what he says

I rented a car and upon taking it home realized I was driving a car with four bald tires. I was on my way to South Carolina Where they are having record rainfall. So imagine trying to stop on the flooded highway with ball tires? Not happy with hertz

Was picking up a car at Laguardia NY airport to drive home to Connecticut after vacation. Took at least 45 minutes to get a car. There were 2 guys working, one I believe was the manager and he was running around not always at the counter which left another apparently untrained employee who was very unprofessional and didn't have a clue what was going on or how to help. Stood around for awhile after the first guy swiped our credit card and finally went up to the manager and he got us the paperwork and a car. Was a van, not what we ordered but any car was fine at that point. My husband is a gold member and certainly wasn't gold service.
