Mom got to pick the after church lunch locale on her own today. The milkshakes lured me to an old favorite burger spot, but I managed to stave off the influx of useless calories thanks to an order that seemed strangely rushed considering it took a solid 8 minutes to get the food after that. Staff here is always personable and friendly, and I would rather wait for a hot, fresh order. In the end, not having much time to order saved me an extra workout or extra lbs. and something to look forward to next time - chocolate-covered cherry milkshake, you will be mine!
