Staff was not very friendly. They didn't seem to care at all.

This location is very convenient for me, however I am sometimes disappointed when I come in here. I own reptiles, as well as dogs and cats. I rarely like to complain but a lot of the time I am upset with the way the animals are cared for. I understand there is a lot there to care for. But since I am there often I notice poor care of the reptiles. I have purchased reptiles from this location that never make it out of the buy back dates before they die. I witness new babies come in, healthy, happy, vibrant. And see them grow into sickly, poor, and helpless young adults. Very rarely see any adults. I'm not sure if the employees need to be trained better on the care of these animals, or if the company needs to review how they are being cared for, but it's making me sick. The employees are always very friendly and helpful, and some seem to know more than the others. What happens on the more knowledgeable employees days off? I almost bought a little water dragon baby yesterday to save his life. Last week when we were in he was beautiful and green and so active, this week he is brown and lethargic. Poor baby. Like I said I hate to complain about ANYTHING to anyone but since I'm on this app, and you're asking I might as well put it out there. I buy my live animals from tropical world pets because they are always properly taken care of and healthy. I just buy supplies and food from petco because it is convienient. Also a few times I've been in they were out of much of my reptiles live food so I had to drive to tropical world pets instead and purchase from them.
