I am going to be getting a service dog in the coming 6-12 months. I went to Petco looking for items that are specifically designed to help disabled people care for their service dogs, and didn't find anything. I was hoping to find adaptive items that are easy for me to manage -- stuff regular people use, but made with disabled people's physical issues in mind. Things like traveling pooper scoopers with easy hand controls that can be carried with me all day since bending is tough, brushes with easy to grip handles, etc. Service dogs are becoming more widely used, and I'm surprised Petco wouldn't keep care items for disabled people on their shelves. I was also looking for smart tech to help me care for my dog, like home cameras, toys, GPS/health collars, etc. that would be appropriate for my needs, and there really wasn't much on display from the growing pet tech market.

Staff was not friendly or helpful. Told me that the dog food I was searching for didn't exist which is funny cause I wonder how I have been feeding my dogs all these years?? Very disappointed.
