We go to this Shari's frequently and in the last year, they have undergone a large staff turnover at the dinner hour, Where before it was like family, now there does not seem to be any personality. It took a while before our server took our order and also a long time before the meal arrived. Server did not check on us regularly and had made a mistake on one of the orders. Were supposed to get a free slice of pie because it was our birthday month but did not get it. It used to be fun going here and now it seems easier to consider other dining options.

Too bad there is not a question relating to "presentation." My steak (done perfectly and accurate to my order) was served with the seasonal soup slopped around the bowl and mingling with the juice from the steak. A most unpleasing presentation. I did not call attention to this, as they were very busy and I did not want to wait. Both the soup and the steak were hot and tasty! (Just--the plate looked nasty.)

As already stated, I went in to pick up a gift card. It was a normal transaction; nothing spectacular about it to be "highly" satisfied.

Not set up to accommodate person in wheel chair. Entrance doors and threshold difficult to negotiate. Tables not arranged to accommodate person in wheel chair without being in traffic lanes. This Sheri's serves an community with many older persons.

The two pieces of sandwich bread were old and broken, and weren't adjacent slices from a loaf. Because they were out of the desired (chocolate) pie choice, we had to pay for the "premium" chocolate pie an extra dollar. When you are out of a pie, you should offer the premium at the same cost. That is Customer Service 101. Otherwise, the server was very friendly and competent.
