FIRST. We were quite a way off the beaten track. At least 5-6 Sharis closer to our home then this one, ONE OF WHICH we probably visit 4-5 times monthly. (CHECK OUR SHARI'S Card - I know you can do that. SECONDLY, I RARELY RECCOMMEND restaurants / cars / drinks / or ANYTHING to ANYONE unless and UNTIL THEY ASK for an opinion on something; THEN I will give them MY CONSIDERED OPINION - on Shari's - it would be something like friendly, predictable, reasonable prices, food consistent quality at just about every location, and nice atmosphere.

Two menus. Had to ask for the "Old" menu. Person on cash register had a problem with ringing up the coirrect prices.

Slow getting food

I really enjoy the service.

It was 6:00 AM, empty restaurant, and yet the "service area" was filthy with dirty dishes. All the tables were set up, but our own silverware had dried food stuck to the fork. We went to get another from a different table, and discovered the same situation, more dried food. It just seems at THIS hour, there's no excuse for not having a CLEAN work station, and for someone to take the time to at least "LOOK" at the silverware to be sure they are setting up the tables for future use with clean utensils. Absolutely inexcusable. The first pot of coffee served to me was NOT hot, just lukewarm. We asked for fresher, hot coffee and the server returned immediately with it. 2nd pot was hotter, but not really fresher. :(

Toast is always burnt

I wanted to order a whole quiche to go. The restaurant was very busy and there were people waiting to pay for their food and those waiting to be seated. The gentleman told me to step up and took my order. I thought this would be a very fast and simple transaction but it took far too long, making all those other people who had been waiting before me wait even longer. If I had been one of them I would have been even more angry. Even though the gentleman who was helping me has been there quite some time did not seem to know how to accomplish my simple request of 1 whole quiche lorraine to go

Ordered eggs over easy and got hard yoke, The waitress wrote no olives but got olives

Salad greens served in side salad were not crisp. Husband found that the mayonnaise was difficult to use because no one removed the foil seal on the bottle before presenting condiments to table.
