I want to keep the rating of "Highly satisfied" very difficult to reach, and this experience was just "above average".

1. For the price of a steak dinner, it should include salad or soup. I know that some lesser valued dinners are provided with salad or soup so why not the steak dinners? 2. In the light of fair practices and good advertising you should not be showing, in your menu, a pie that you cannot provide to the customer. False advertising (and 'bait and switch') tactics are being used in your menu when you show the page for Wednesday free pie and a picture of the very popular (and great tasting) Chocolate Hazel Nut Creme Pie. I am very upset that we can't get that pie anymore. It was delicious and it was only sold for 30 days...so stop advertising it. Either that or make more Hazel Nut Pies to sell.

fish portions in fish and chips were small and had a really weird texture. Like not real fish. The food in general was 'okay' not great. (Denny's better as is Elmers' although Elmers isn't 24 hours and costs a bit more.) Re/the fish and chips: serving in a basket is cute but not practical. The paper liner gets holes via knife and fork, so condiments leak onto the table. Bring back the plates. Our waitress told us this happens all the time, but mgmt won't change back. My thought: get over the face-loss and fix the problem. It's only a matter of time before it's not must a messy table that requires cleanup, but the condiment spills will get on someone's clothes and you'll be dealing with dry-cleaning bills.

The poached eggs could not have been better!! The oil on the hashbrowns and the english muffins had a rancid taste.

Turkey sandwich was not to my wife's liking so we ordered another item instead and boxed up the sandwich.

Previously I have had unpleasant experiences at this store, and am now trying it again. It has definitely improved, but still has a way to go on the day shift. Last week I went in the evening and it was top-notch all the way through, but I failed to bring home the invitation number on the receipt and so could not express my "kudos" for the evening shift.

I was very satisfied with my experience. The server was attentive and understood options and choices available to me very well. I especially appreciated her checking up with me shortly after my being served. I was able to obtain what I wanted which was served with dispatch. Her attitude was positive and efficient. In other words, I received exactly what I wanted both in food and in service.

Shari's is not a high end restaurant but we certainly paid like we were. I think that being that you service an elderly population on a fixed income, the prices should be adequate. The food was nothing out of the ordinary, if you look back on the ticket you will see what was ordered. Your company really need to take a good look at prices and make some adjustments. For the 21.00 spent there I could have gone to La Provence and gotten much fresher food and pastry with a nicer presentation.

Hostess sat me a mini-booth, which was two small for me to move my elbows. It made me feel like I was in a cramped airline seat. These "booths" are not comfortable or conducive to a pleasant dining experience. Luckily the waiter immediately moved me to a much more comfortable seat. The waiter (Matt?) was very attentive and quick to help/answer any questions. Food was served in a large bowl causing the tasteless veggies (and their water) to mix in with the gravy and mashed potatoes. A plate would have worked better. For a place known for their pies the slice seemed pretty small.
