At payment, I presented my Shari’s card with $5.00 loaded. The cashier said she deducted the $5.00, but checking the receipt in the car, no change to amount due was made. This detracted from the experience.

The menu item ordered was supposed to have prime rib in it. The was just a few little scraps of beef that could not be described as even a small slice of prime rib. If you advertise it as prime rib Benedict then prime rib should be in it! I didn’t say anything for we were in a hurry and no time to send it back.

The waiter took over 15 minutes to greet us and take our order. No soup brought salad with the meal instead of before the meal. The rolls were cold and stale. No cranberry sauce with Christmas Turkey Dinner mixed vegetables looked bad and were cold.

We were taken to a table near the bathroom entry and lottery area. We asked to be seated in the other side of the restaurant, we didn't feel like we needed to give explanation of why we didn't want to sit by the bathrooms or lottery area. The server paused, then led us to a different area. We ordered water with no ice. She brought water and then we didn't see her back at our table for at least 10 minutes, more than customary after we moved our menus to the edge of the table. No checkbacks happened. I took our empty glasses to the counter and asked for a water refill as our server, Mireida had not checked on us at all. Mireida finally returned and took our order. It was an extraordinary long time for our meal to arrive. I would say 30 minutes. I think our order was intentionally delayed. Others around us received several stops as our server walked by saying nothing to us or noticing we needed water. Our meal arrived. My dining guest asked for a large glass of water. Our server returned with 2 large glasses with ice, we asked for no ice. At this point we were done and just wanted to eat and leave and so we did. The server did check back, when we were done eating. Very dissappointing

Let me begin. First of all, I ordered ice water with lemon. Plain water with no ice, nor lemon, was brought. My muffin arrived way before the food. Consequently, it was cold by the time my food arrived. Then I ordered an item that was supposed to have sour cream and salsa with it. That never came and by the time the waitress came by I was half finished with my food before I got the sour cream and salsa. Before receiving my check I was never asked if there was anything more I'd like. I DID want something else. The hostess, waitress, and manager were new to our Shari's that night. I'll go back, but next time I'll know what to expect if the same waitress is there.

I ordered the ribs and chicken tender combo. The ribs were smaller than I expected. The potato salad and coleslaw had too much mayonnaise to my taste. The biscuit was reheated in the microwave I think because it was tough. I personally don't think bread products can be reheated in the microwave. I would like to say I will continue to visit Sharis as there are many items I enjoy eating on the menu. I always think of Sharis when I think of ordering pie in the local area.

Truly thought we were in a Greasy Spoon! What has happened to your quality, Sharis?! The stuffed hash browns had the ENTIRE ingredients stuffed in one big blob! Had to roll our bacon & sausage in napkins to absorb grease! Waitress never replenished the half & half - she went MIA! Tea water tepid. No knives...what's up with that?! The regular order of hash browns was under cooked. The waitress did know the menu though.

We have been coming to Shari's King City for years and have enjoyed Free Pie Wednesday - we have arrived before 4:00 several times and have received the complimentary pie without incident until today. We we told that because we had arrived at 3:27pm we could not get our Free Pie, even though we were done eating and ready to get pie at at 4:02pm. After a complaint to a visiting Manager from Washington were given the Pie and comped for it. Although we appreciated the Pie, it would have been nice to know that this was a change of policy and would have adjusted accordingly and not had to get upset and argue with the manager. No where does it state this new policy on the Point of Purchase printed matter either. This coupled with the 'new' smaller portions without reduced prices means we WON'T be returning any time soon

I didn't realize until after I left the restaurant how much I was charged for a half of grilled cheese sandwich. I had a skillet which was appropriately priced and a nice portion. My guest had a half of grilled cheese sandwich with two pickels and the cost was $8.79. That price is accessive for only a half of sandwich.

The food didn't have any flavor, was given another selection and was over cook.
