This was a terrible birthday experience! Laurie, our server, seemed bored. Only one other couple seated. Others arrive after we ordered and received their food while we...waited. It took about 1/2 hour for food arrival. Spinach Omelette was missing the Blue Cheese and when we brought it to Laurie's attention, her reply was, "you want Blue Cheese?" OF COURSE! It's why we ordered that omellete! She went to the kitchen and we heard her tell the chef, "it doesn't have any Blue Cheese." She returned with a small portion of Blue Cheese, two nuggets and some small pebbles and explained that the manager had cooked our omelette. No apology offered. The other Omelette and hashbrowns were well done, despite Laurie's assurance that Omelettes were the Chef's specialty. It contained shredded pepper stems. Yuck. We saw other employees positively interacting between themselves but our server treated us as though we did not belong there. We certainly were made to feel that we had transgressed by bringing the preparation error to her attention. Some birthday present.. Value? Could have gone The Country Cat or dozens of other restaurants for a professional experience.

I paid and recieved my pickup order. As I was leaving, another woman came in, grabbed a bag off the counter, and walked out with me. A waitress chased me out, accused me of not paying, made me come back inside, and the completely ignored everything I was saying about how I paid and the food she was talking about wasn't mine and I could tell her the total and the exact tip I left on my order, I signed a reciept and definitely paid. She yelled at me in front of other employees and customers until the waitress (Erin) who rang me up came out and informed the woman that I paid for my order, it was the other woman who didn't. Erin apologized and walked me out, but the woman who chased me and falsely accused me didn't say sorry once. I wish I had caught her name because I am LIVID that I was treated this way. I will never be back to this Shari's, and honestly I don't know if I'll ever go to any Shari's ever again. The food is okay, but not nearly good enough to be worth the abuse I went through the other night.

This store had very few customers, and none of the crew appeared to be very busy. I was seated and it took over ten minutes for the wait person to bring my coffee, while she had time to stop and talk with a regular in the lottery area. I normally play Keno to fill my time, but the person never came by to check on any need that I may have. My order came in over 12-13 minutes. The plate was much hotter than usual and the Panini bread was crisper on the top and very soggy on the bottom and between the eggs. This is indicative that the plate was sitting under the hot lamps for far too long. Also, I have never seen a deli dill pickle on a breakfast plate. On a previous visit to this store, I witnessed a wait person tell a customer that their table was not hers and she then walked into the food prep area to comb out her hair and then tie it up. I am a frequent visitor to many of the Sharis sites and strongly believe that every new employee needs to spend time under Andee at the Airportway location. This store is always busy and the crew all work to satisfy any customer request. I wish that I could say the same of this about other locations.

The service was completely terrible, the wait on drinks to be delivered to our table was approximately 1 hour. The server assigned to our table never came and greeted us nor spoke one word and another server was assigned to our table. The kitchen employees along with the manager were laughing and talking in the kitchen and werent very helpful towards me or any other guest. Nothing was complimentary for us due to the fact that our meal was so late. Our receipt was given to us before asking about dessert. The food that was delivered late was cold and Under cooked, when asked for the manager an employee told us she said we could wait. This was the worst experience of my life. The waitress Laurie was very rude and short with us. She also charged us for 2 hot teas instead of one and charged us for a steak dinner instead of a steak breakfast. We waited an extraordinarily long time for coffee and hot tea refills. However Jennifer, the manager, was a ROCKSTAR and fixed the ticket for us!!

The portions of food, country-fried steak with one glob of mashed potatoes, were very disappointing, they were so small! I purposely ordered the regular meal, NOT honored citizens (though I am of age), and asked the server if what she brought me was the regular meal (it was), which makes me wonder how much tinier the honored citizens steak could possibly be! If you were to start using smaller plates, much smaller plates, they would not look half-empty.

We regularly visit Sharis twice a month. However, it had been a month since our last visit and the new cook is a failure. His Eggs Benedict, which I order every time I go, were overcooked, not warm, the muffin couldn't be cut with the knife, and the hash browns were not brown. A disaster. The former cook, Patty?, made superior Eggs Benedict. I did not have to pay for my lunch (my wife's, albeit a bit overcooked shrimp, were okay, according to her), which I appreciated. I hear that the cook has been there a month and that there have been problems with his cooking since he began. Before we return to this restaurant, I shall telephone to ask if he has been replaced. If he is still there, we shall not return again. Sorry about this. We have loved the food and the pies until now. Sadly, no longer the case. Sincerely, Gene Kirchoffer

First Of All, The Problem Was NOT Our Waitress. She Did Fine. Yes The Coffee Was Cold When We Got It, She Promptly Replaced It... Fine. Got Our Food, Her Rice Was Dry & Old, My Mashed Potatoes Were Bordering Room Temp/COLD. The Vegetables Were OK But Not Great. The Salmon Was Dry & Flavorless. I Reluctantly Got The Manager & Asked Him To Our Table Quietly. He Took Our Plates Saying They Would Be Remade. He Came Back With Our Partially Eaten Food On "New" Plates Minus What We Complained About. (Her Cold Vegetables, My Half Eaten Cold Country Fried Steak & Vegetables.) 1st He Comes Back With My Potatoes (Which I BURNED MY MOUTH ON!) And 2nd Her Plate. She Went Back To Video Poker, He Went & Told Her To Come Back To The Table! Her Food Was Ready! Keep In Mind I Was PAYING FOR THIS TREATMENT!!! UNACCEPTABLE! HE SHOULD BE FIRED! No Excuse For This...
