The hostess paid no attention to us, and finally a waitress had to seat us even though she was busy. My wife's food was very good, and I had the same thing. My poached egg had a broken yoke and the dish was full of water. My hash browns we ice cold on the inside and burnt on the outside. The bacon was burnt and very hard. The cook made one meal very good and one was very bad. The cook needs to learn quality control. Our waitress was very good and offered to replace the meal, but it seemed like a waste. She tried very hard but the rest of the staff let her down.

My guest was a really large man, and the server sat us in a booth. My guest was too embarrassed to say anything to me even I tried to say I wanted to move to a table but by this time he was wedged into the seat and was too embarrassed to get up since the tables next to us were now filled. I was ashamed, that Eric who sat us did not consider a persons size and the fact my guest was limping, that we sat all the way in the back and at a booth. Eric was a super waiter, friendly, timely, but not cognitive to my guests physical needs. I still will go back to this Sharis, Thanks

Food was warm, not hot. Wide mouth coffee cups mean coffee gets luke-warm in about 3 minutes.

New employee RJ did a great job, was very attentive and helped with everything. The only downside was I ordered the steak and eggs with white toast. Instead, a NY strip and french toast came out. No worries, he fixed the toast problem up ASAP but the stead was obviously harder to fix and I didn't want to bring it up, until the receipt showed it was a higher price than the menu.

Portions were smaller than my expectations. Service was a bit slow.

We have visited this location for many years - since it opened, in fact. Since gambling was introduced (lottery), the atmosphere has declined. It seems to have become a mecca for gambling addicts, and homeless people gather in front of the building and smoke cigarettes. We can no longer sit on the side of the restaurant that features gambling; it's simply cruel to watch these individuals make multiple trips to the cash machine, then back into the gambling room. We very much wish Shari's would eliminate gambling from its business model, and return to its roots of a family restaurant where our kids could feel safe after a football game.

The hostess was not aware of what tables could be or not be sat and the restaurant was only 1/2 filled. Also the server was only 2 days on the job and put on the floor to serve without knowing the menu. He as great, good customer service skills, but had to leave the table too may times to ask simple menu questions.

Went to Shari's because my husband wanted the pie of the month (Hazlenut), but it was not available, it was frozen. Waitress was very apologetic and gave my husband a coupon for a free pie on another visit.
