This is a very high profile Shari's in a busy traffic corridor. Right away, we knew something was wrong because there was garbage on the floor. I could see 2 manager types, brown shirt w black pants, but they kept going back and forth with no greeting. At least 10 minutes passed. Finally, someone made eye contact, then said it would be a while because we were a group of 8 (it was late dinner hour). I noted the restaurant wasn't that full. Another 10 minutes or so and we were seated in a booth. Walking by butler's pantry area, it was a mess. Waited for 10 minutes while waitress stopped at other tables but no water or menus. The waitress was nice, seemed experienced but didn't know the menu and didn't ask about salad/fries/soup for an entre + dinner. Food was hot, but nothing to make it look pretty. We ordered milkshakes at same time as dinner ordered but they weren't entered on bill. No bill brought to table. Waited for waitress to bring bill but finally stood at cash register. Manager apologized about service, didn't charge for milkshakes though we should have paid. Get folks settled with water and menu, then go back where others are. I could have done better...

Lukewarm food,wait to long for food,considering there were only 6 people in the restaurant !!!! Cook with no knowledge on how to prepare our order, with our server having to tell her step by step how to prepare it. Bravo to Charlott. Two nights in a row, with terrible food. We won't be back for quite some time..

-My husband ordered the Shari's version of the club sandwich and the size of the sandwich is NOT worth almost $10. I can make that sandwich at home with my normal everyday same sized bread for less than $5. We had to go somewhere else to feed his hungry appetite. -I ordered the meat lovers skillet and when it arrived, the cheese was not melted and the overall temperature was not hot. The ingredients were also not mixed well. -No one ever asked us for any refills on our sodas. -It took too long to get our check. We left feeling hungry still and not satisfied at all. -We will never come back or recommend Shari's, this one or in general. There are better portion sizes out there from other 24 hour restaurants where we can leave feeling full and satisfied.

The server was very inattentive. It was a very slow night . But yet we had to flag her down for almost every thing. Asked for cream with coffee.. she brought the coffee and not the cream.. Had to wave to get her attention to bring the cream . neede dm,ore hot water for tea once again had to wave and flag her down needed extra napkins. and again had to wave and call to her to request them.. ect.. slow to serve our order.. after eating waited an extra long time finally had to once again flag her down and ask for bill. She had stuck it in a coffee cup in the prep area and forgotten she never gave to us.. Not satisfied.

Placed our order and the waitress twice came back to see what we had ordered. My wife ordered a salad, and waitress came back to see which one she wanted. I ordered fried chicken steak, which came with mashed potatoes. Waitress came back and said dinner came with a side, and gave me a list including mashed potatoes. I explained it came with it, and showed her on the menu. After 10 minutes I asked for my salad, which she had forgotten. I got my salad, and two minutes later our meal came so I put salad aside without finishing it. Then I found my order lukewarm at best. And it was not complete as I didn't get a dinner role as was on the menu. I will say I asked for extra gravy and I got it, so thank you for that. Waitress never came around and asked if I wanted a drink refill; I had to call her over and ask for one. We dine at Shari's often, and this is the second time we've had bad service at this site. I will have to avoid it in the future.

waitress looked sloppy- hair a mess and not clean appearing- but mainly she was not efficient= had to ask for everything from new girl on shift to manage and I heard her say she was going as fast as she could-- 'If I am correct--she only had like 5 booths of 2's mainly== have been in business 45 years before health issues-- and I loved what I did- maybe she needs a different job If she feels so stressed ===I did not tip for the first time in my life- she needs retraining with a smile and a new attitude== or let the other gal have the business on the other side if not capable of handling would suggest a little attention paid to appearance and hair

When the temp and correctness of our food was discussed with the waitress she went to discuss it with the mngr. She returned to the table with our check and stated she was able to take $30 off our bill. We had a party of 12 with 2 small children. 3 of us did not get food until everyone else was almost done eating. 5 of the 12 meals were cold. the manager came to our table and seemed put off and gave an excuse of a cook not showing for his shift so she had to cook. she stated our orders were cooked immediately and the waitress got our food out as quickly as she could but it wasn't her fault our food was cold. I would recommend that you have maintenance check your heat lamps since the manager continued to inform us that our food remained under the lamps until served to us. The manager was very rude to us including when we were paying our bill. she stated "I took another $30 off but that is all I am doing" and then walked away leaving a worker to finish with us. I would like reimbursed for the total we did pay for a highly dissatisfied visit. Lets just say that I have been there during the lunch hour before when all the tables were full and had GREAT service. Food came quick and it was good and the servers always managed to check on us. Tonight I went there for dinner and they had customers but weren't horribly busy. I waited 35 minutes for food after ordering, my server didn't come and check on me once and ask how things were, I had to flag down mgr to get me some ketchup and after eating I sat there with my plate at end of table to be picked up for another 15 min. The servers had personal conversations and the manager talked a lot with a couple up front at the single seats. Then when I wanted pie I was brought my check so I just decided to leave. I wasn't asked how things were or anything else. My coffee was dark and old tasting and honestly, it was the worst service and food I have EVER had there. When I told the manager about it while paying he didn't seem to concerned and told me to have a better night.
