The esthetician was wonderful and knowledgeable and gentle. I had to wait 1/2 hour before entering the treatment room. I had a gift card for 1 session and was told that I needed to pay an additional $20 for the treatment I thought would be included in the facial. I feel that I was being upsold to buy additional sessions and products, which were expensive. I ended up paying $114 for a "free" facial. I know that I didn't have to buy the products, but I felt like it was more of a business, than a treatment.

I enjoyed the massage very much and my massage therapist helped me with needed areas. However, at other massage places I've been they check you in and then bring you to a quiet room- away from the door to relax before and after your treatment. I will be back though!

I've had a few facials that were pretty good but wasn't that satisfied with the initial ones for the monthly cost. I few people I went to also left - so I see a lot of turnover. Every time I go, I need to upgrade to get a fascial I'm satisfied with so it ends up being over a $100 expense monthly.

The reception area could be improved with a table for setting down one's tea or water. The products looked good, especially one of them, but it cost $56.00 and I can't afford that (since nothing will really make me look young again). My facial with add-ons was very nice. I bought a gift card for my friend. However, the prices for a return are almost twice as expensive. I chose Hand and Stone because it is nearby and accepted my gift certificate.

Other facials I have had at other spas included a scalp massage and a short massage down the arms and hands. This did not and I would have liked this.

My massage therapist talked quite a bit and she poked at an area on my glut without asking me (to prove how some muscles can be tenser than others), and it really hurt.

I added on a scalp massage to my facial which I did not feel was worth the $15 for a less than 5 minute massage

My message and message therapist Meredith were amazing! The receptionists were alright. When I first started coming there in August the reception staff was making ch more welcoming.
