There’s someone on your staff that needs an attitude check. She has blonde hair. She wasn’t that nice to me in the beginning of my visit when I was reading through intake forms. At the end of my visit, she asked if I would book another appointment there. Like, I’m going to give my money to visit Hand & Stone again. Yeah, no thanks!

I arrived 20 minutes early for my appointment, given it was my first time at this location. However, my massage started about seven minutes late. I figured being early would be helpful, but it was not in this case.

I was satisfied with my appointment. There are small things that I will mention to my therapist on the next visit that will help to get to extremely satisfied.

It felt like the massage was over very quickly - we were brought into the room at a few minutes after 11 and wrapped up at 11:50. The massage itself was excellent but I would’ve liked a few more minutes to have the full time!

The therapist was very accommodating and communicative. Maybe it was me, I wasn't as relaxed as I would have liked, in general. Perhaps for personal reasons.

I was 10 min early for my appointment but the masseuse didn’t come get me until 10 min after the start time. I had a few questions about my membership and booking next months appointment and the receptionist couldn’t help me

I am still new to hand and stone, but each time I come I schedule a 60 minute appointment and the estetician only works on me for 40 minutes of the 60 minute time period. I am taken back no sooner than my scheduled appointment time, have a quick 3 minute briefing with my estetician, and then get dressed and lay on the bed for 5+ minutes before they come in. Then when my service is complete, there is still 10+ minutes left in my 60 minute window. I know the site says to allow time for briefing and dress/undress but I feel like either the services should not be titaled “60 min” or I should be taken back early to accommodate some of this time where I am not being addressed by the estetician. This has occurred with more than one person so it is not related to just my masseuse or just my facialist. Each time I leave with only a 40 minute service when it is titaled for 60 min

The massage was a gift. It was very relaxing but not hard enough to be considered therapeutic. It is nothing to do with the therapist herself; it’s the way your services are packaged and sold.

The massage was good, but it wasn't the best one I've had. It did help my muscles loosen, but I didn't feel fully relaxed or like I entered the zone. When I go to the university city location, I feel like I'm entering an oasis, and that didn't happen in the Rittenhouse location. I also wish the therapist used more pressure to really work my knots like other therapists have. But the therapist was skilled and knowledgeable, and it did help.
