Hand and Stone

I was taken back for my 10:15am apt at 10:25am. They apologized for the wait, but my one hour massage still ended at 11:15am. My apt started late, but the end time was the same. I hope you can see how this is wrong.

I am very happy. It felt great the whole time and theropist was great. Great pressure and so friendly. AFTER the massage (the next day on) this one part of my back now hurts and it did not before.

I wish they would outline the pricing and explain better the membership options and costs when you’re making choices on what to get.

I was NOT expecting to have to wear a mask the ENTIRE massage. It did not state anywhere during booking that I would be required to wear one the whole time. I asked the therapist and she told me I had to keep my mask on the entire 50 minutes. It was fine while I was face up, but having to wear a mask while face down, I could barely breathe. I was very uncomfortable and could not fully enjoy the massage. If I knew I had to keep the mask on while face down, I wouldn't have booked the massage.

My appointment did not start on time. If my appointment is at 2:15 my massage should start at that time. I should not be walking back at that time.

Facility was a little noisey and seemed a little cluttered and drafty. Massage was average. Grateful that you were open during the pandemic.

You could hear doors opening and closing during the massage. Other than that the therapist was great. Reception staff was friendly.

Too much grease/lotion in my hair afterwards. I wish the massage therapist had tried to avoid my hair or asked me to move it out of the way. Felt gross after.

This appointment had to be rescheduled after the therapist I had booked with previously was sick. I understand the massage therapist's situation, but was only notified when I arrived for my massage and was not given any advance notice. The therapist I was booked with for this rescheduled massage was just okay and used techniques that didn't feel effective. She also had a sharp fingernail that would sometimes nick me when she used a certain part of her hand.

Overall it felt like there was a lot of confusion about whether or not I'd been there before. I've visited several times in the past. I had to fill out forms again as well. For whatever reason, my appointment also started over 10 minutes late. I'm also confused about transfer fees since the membership is under my wife's name. When we purchased the package originally, the attendant said that the location usually doesn't enforce the $10 fee. However, I've been charged on and off since that time.
