Hand and Stone

My massage appointment was scheduled with Lauren who is my usual favorite therapist, and when I arrived for my appointment I learned that I had been switched to someone else.

I was very satisfied, I did not mean to indicate that I was not with the wait time, it was just about 10 minutes behind but the therapist went over so it ended up being the right amount of time. I was very satisfied with my visit.

I was highly satisfied with everything except for the price. I added a 40 dollar upgrade with the hopes that my skin would look a little different, but in my opinion I saw little to no difference.

Massage therapists have not seemed to be well trained. Over the past three sessions at Hand and Stone none of the therapists have done professional massages, they all just rubbed lotion on my body and did not check to see if pressure was okay

Receptionist was not very warm or welcoming. My appointment started 10-15 minutes late.

I take good care of my skin anyway. I have facials to maintain my skins appearance , not to see any "results" necessarily

My room must have been next to the staff break lounge. There was loud voices and laughing for most of the appointment

The overall experience is a good one at an affordable rate

I felt the massage therapist was rushing, her movements were just fast and felt rushed. I was taken back for my appointment about 4-5 minutes after 5 pm (my appt time), and would say I started a few minutes after (due to taking off my clothes for the massage) and the massage was done prior to 6 pm. That’s not a full hour massage.

I really loved how friendly everyone was. The products used during my facial were also great. Everyone was very knowledgeable. I just wish my massage had done more to address my concerns about neck and shoulder tightness.
