Hand and Stone

I was satisfied, just not highly satisfied.

The rooms look very dull now. The beach Photos used to give me a sense of calm. Also the reception people didn’t seem to know much about the services and or products

For my appointment on 12/22, I never received a confirmation call or text like I usually do, so I called the night before to confirm. I was told I was confirmed, but later learned that I was not marked as confirmed in the system. I arrived to my appointment 10 minutes early and checked it, but learned that the person did not actually put it into the system, so my therapist did not know I was here. I waited until 20 minutes after my appointment time until someone else at the front desk noticed I was waiting and told me I hadn't been checked in. I wasn't able to receive my full 80 minute massage due to the check-in error. This was especially frustrating because in the past, I had booked an appointment with one of my regular therapists and DID receive a confirmation text, but when I arrived on appointment day, I was told the therapist wasn't working that day, and no one had called to reschedule my appointment. The massage therapists are always fantastic, but the front desk experience and booking can be frustrating!

Overall, I did enjoy my therapist; she was very attentive.

I enjoyed my time at Hand & Stone. Walking in the bience was very relaxing and there was plenty of room to sit comfortably in the waiting room. I wish my massage room had been a little darker and that my massage therapist was a bit quieter and less talkative but otherwise I was satisfied

Came in for a deep tissue massage, but felt as though it was more of a swedish massage with not enough pressure.

I was not super satisfied with the massage. The facial was pretty good, although I do feel like there is such a big effort to updcharge it's a little annoying. The website is not very user friendly either. There's no way to check package availability and t's confusing.

My appointment was running behind and no one even acknowledged to tell me why. I saw guest come in after me and they got called before me. Not to mention my massage was done in a facial room. My massage was supposed to start at 6pm but didn’t start until after 620pm and ended at 7pm. That was not a full 50min. I have never been disappointed with Hand and Stone but that day I was.

My massage therapist was friendly enough but I just could not relax DURING my massage. I asked what she would be using to massage me and she said gel. I wish I could have been given the option to have oil especially since I had no idea what was in the gel. And the pressure she used was a little too hard. I told her a couple of times to lessen the pressure but I think she was just heavy handed. I noticed that almost immediately after my massage I felt very relaxed but I just couldn't relax during.

Receptionist ability to explain member benefits clearly was unsatisfactory but the rest of my experience was good.
