Hand and Stone

There was an issue with my points balance, and the receptionist told me that I should call the main office. I did so today (Sept 27th), and after some investigation by the IT department, I was told by Nancy (very helpful) that there was an error in the processing of a previous visit at the Locust St location. This has since been resolved, but I found it a bit odd that the women at the location said she couldn't at least look at my account history. I would also like to say that the new owners have done a nice job in sprucing up the location, as it was getting somewhat "tired" looking.

I really wish there was some kind of transition area. There was no before or after place to sit and relax, it would enrich the experience.

Roxanne and the staff were awesome at this location. Roxanne takes the time to ensure that the clients needs are met by focusing on the client's problem areas. She is friendly and I would like to schedule with her again.

I haven’t viisited this location in a while, so “satisfied” is a good baseline.

My experience with Hand & Stone is the uncertainty the massage therapist I like will not be there on my next visit.

Overall excellent service. However, esthetician could have been more informative on what to expect with the application of certain products, i.e. burning, tingling, mild odors, so as the customer I would know this is a normal reaction. Also, if the recommended service is considered an upgrade to the package with an additional cost that should also be disclosed.

Frankly, nothing about the services blew me away. I was satisfied and will continue to come to this location, but I can't say taht I am highly satisfied.

Told staff I'd come in for headache but she didn't address it. Prior facials elsewhere included arms hands but not this one.

I requested a hot stone massage when I booked but did not receive one. However, it worked out because the Swedish massage was very good and much needed after moving. It would be helpful for the staff to be a bit quieter in the hallways. Or, perhaps it was guests, hard to tell. The noise outside the room was a bit disruptive but minimal and hard to get around I am sure. My therapist was very good, but I requested focus on my lower body and that didn't happen. The gentleman who massaged my boyfriend was very good and explained to him why certain muscles were feeling the way we were.
