Massage therapist was a bit too chatty and intense considering my main purpose for getting a massage was relaxation. Receptionist upon checkout was a bit pushy about signing up for a membership, which I considered but ultimately did not.

The reception area could be a bit more relaxing and welcoming. Perhaps if staff offered water or hot tea while guests wait for their appointment to begin. A relaxing fountain or relaxing music should be available in the reception area as well.

I was a few minutes late due to getting lost on the way, totally my fault. Nothing was mentioned about it when I arrived. My therapist didn't mention that my time would be shorter. I understand that it was, but would have preferred a heads up. Also I mentioned sciatic pain and my lower back was barely touched

The reception room felt cramped and exposed, I felt rushed by the receptionists, the massage was not very good at all. I'll go back to Hand and Stone, but likely not that location.

My husband just joined as a new member, I explained that I was a member for 15 months. I was changed the new member rate of $59 instead of using my membership earned massage and my rate is $49.

I enjoyed my experience at Hand and Stone- as usual- my facial was fine and my massage was also good- I find it frustrating that the turnover of massage therapists is so great- I find someone I like and then I call to book and that person is "no longer at this location" and if I ask which location they are at- I get no response- which to me feels like a lie- or avoidance or simply not telling me they no longer work at Hand and Stone. So I find someone new-until they also don't work at Hand and Stone anymore... alas-it's frustrating- so as long as the turnover is so high- I will continue to be satisfied and not Highly Satisfied.

I made two appointments on line which were not received by the site. I ad my entire weekend schedule planned around a massage Friday night and a facial Saturday morning. They had neither of my appointments in there system which meant I didn't get my massage and my facial on Saturday was reschedule for the afternoon (which forced me to rearrange other plans).

The experience is fine but there is a lack of therapists and rapid turn-over among the staff such that I am unable to count on being able to have the same therapist over multiple visits. This may be an endemic problem perhaps related to low wages or other sources of frequent staff turnover.

Some of the products used on my face during the facial were cold and was applied without a warning. So this made me more tense and not relaxed.
